The process is simple: illuminating phosphor crystals are printed directly onto a clear, conductive substrate. The substrate is then applied to any surface - fabrics to metals, signage to promotional products - the applications are endless! When the phosphor crystals are exposed to an electric current, Electroluminescent Light (EL) is produced. EL is energy efficient and cool to the touch. We take the process a step further by producing Animated Electroluminescent Lighting (AEL), which is the process of taking EL and programming lighted sequence events within any graphic or full color image.

Benefits of EL
• Animate color images, text and logos
• Cool to the touch - negligible heat emission
• Paper thin - less than 1 mm thick
• Low energy consumption (most efficient light source on earth)
• No hazardous materials - landfill friendly
• For use in indoor and outdoor applications
• Install as signage or supplement a P.O.P. stand
• Easy to look at, pleasing to the eye
• No filament to break - internal structure will not break or encounter overall failure
• Flexible and pliable

How EL Graphics Work
Light illuminating phosphor crystals are printed onto a clear conductive layer. A dark conductive layer is applied on top of the phosphor layer to complete the circuit. The graphics layer is transparent to allow the light to escape.
